On January 5, fans were surprised to find the central staircase of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, located near Gwanghwamun Square, fully transformed with visuals teasing BTS’ upcoming fifth full-length album. The outdoor installation featured the album’s logo, release date, and the group’s name, drawing massive attention due to the venue’s symbolic status as one of Korea’s most iconic cultural landmarks.

BigHit Music explained the meaning behind the offline promotion, stating, “BTS began in Korea and grew into a group that now performs on a global stage. As they return as a complete group after a long time, we wanted to hold an offline promotion in Seoul—where their cultural roots lie.” The agency also revealed plans to expand similar outdoor advertising campaigns to major cities worldwide, including New York, Tokyo, and London.

At the top of the Sejong Center staircase, a large sculptural installation of the new album’s logo has been erected, instantly becoming a photo spot for fans and passersby. The logo itself was first revealed through handwritten letters that BTS sent to ARMYs around the world. While its exact meaning remains undisclosed, fans have been actively speculating, sharing theories, and decoding potential symbolism—further heightening anticipation for the comeback.

BTS are set to release their fifth full-length album on March 20, marking their first full-group comeback in approximately three years and nine months. The album will include 14 tracks, reflecting the emotions, reflections, and growth the group has accumulated throughout their journey—offering a dense and honest portrait of “BTS as they are now.”

Following the album’s release, all seven members will embark on a large-scale world tour. Detailed concert information will be announced on January 14 via the global fan platform Weverse.

With a striking red logo, a symbolic Seoul landmark, and a carefully timed reveal, BTS’ comeback is already shaping up to be more than just a return—it’s a statement of identity, roots, and global presence.
