The low-priced coffee market in South Korea is fiercely competitive, with many brands increasingly turning to well-known celebrities as ambassadors to strengthen brand recognition and consumer trust.
Since announcing BTS’s V as its brand ambassador in December 2023, Compose Coffee has seen an explosive rise in visibility and public interest, both domestically and internationally.
On January 27, Compose Coffee celebrated ranking No. 1 in overall satisfaction in the “Low-Priced Coffee Franchise Brand Satisfaction Survey” conducted by the Korea Consumer Agency.
The survey evaluated consumers who had visited low-priced coffee franchises at least three times per month over the past three months. Four major brands were included in the study: Compose Coffee, Mega MGC Coffee, The Venti, and Paik’s Coffee.

According to the results, Compose Coffee earned the highest overall score of 3.97 out of 5, and securing first place in consumer satisfaction. Mega MGC Coffee followed with 3.93 points, while The Venti scored 3.86, and Paik’s Coffee placed fourth with 3.73 points.

Compose Coffee received consistently high evaluations across service quality and overall brand performance. The results reaffirmed the brand’s position not only as a value-for-money coffee chain, but also as one that consumers reliably choose in their everyday lives.
As brand ambassador, V has helped position Compose Coffee as a familiar and accessible brand for consumers at home while drawing increased attention from global audiences.

A representative from Compose Coffee stated, “This No. 1 ranking in consumer satisfaction reflects our commitment to prioritizing the consumer perspective across quality and service, not just affordable pricing.” The representative added, “We will continue to strengthen our brand competitiveness so that Compose Coffee remains a trusted and accessible part of customers’ daily routines.”
To mark the achievement, Compose Coffee announced on January 27 that it will launch a customer appreciation discount promotion. The event will be held through the brand’s official app, offering discounted Americanos as a gesture of gratitude to customers.
