On March 22, Kian84 uploaded a new video titled “With an Old Employee” on his YouTube channel. BTS Jin appeared as a special guest, and the two friends had a fun reunion.
During the video, Jin playfully asked, “Why am I not in season 2 of ‘Kian’s B&B’?” Kian84 firmly answered, “I have no plans to do the show without you”. Jin quickly replied, “Liar!” In the end, they both laughed and admitted that Jin could not join because his schedule was just too packed. The new Netflix season will air later this year with new stars like volleyball player Kim Yeon Kyoung, Lee Jun Ho, and Kazuha.
Jin then talked about his recent life. He shared that he is very busy working on a solo album and going on tour at the same time. Kian84 praised his friend’s global star power, saying he still sees Jin‘s face in ads everywhere he looks.
The two showed off their great friendship by eating gimbap and playing games together. Jin shared why he loves working with Kian84, saying, “The best part about filming with you is the total, rule-free freedom”. Kian84 laughed and agreed, saying, “That is just our style”.
Jin also opened up about how his feelings toward being in BTS have changed over the years. He honestly confessed, “When I debuted at 22 years old, I really thought about quitting after seven years”. However, he explained that as time passed, working became much more fun. He added, “Thanks to the fans, my gratitude grew, and I realized I wanted to do this longer and more seriously”.
Finally, Jin talked about the new BTS full group album, ‘Arirang‘. This is their first full group album in 3 years and 9 months since finishing their military service. He explained the special meaning behind the title, saying, “It holds our feelings of waiting, missing you, and being thankful. We used the word “Arirang” to show our thanks to the fans who waited for us”.
