It’s projected that ‘ARIRANG‘ by BTS will top ‘Billboard 200‘ for the second consecutive week, according to U.S. sources.
Earlier this week, ‘ARIRANG’ landed at #1 on ‘Billboard 200’ for the week of April 4 after reporting 641,000 units sold, becoming BTS’s seventh album to achieve the milestone. Additionally, the album’s title track “Swim” debuted at #1 on ‘Billboard Hot 100‘, also the group’s seventh career song to hit the top.
Alongside Billboard’s two main charts in the U.S, the K-Pop giant swept #1 spots all across Billboard including ‘Billboard Global‘, ‘Global Exclusive. U.S.‘, ‘Digital Song Sales‘, ‘World Digital Song Sales‘, and more.
If BTS manage to defend their #1 spot on ‘Billboard 200’ for the second consecutive week next week, they will officially become the first K-Pop artist to do so.
