BTS‘s Jungkook has crossed 500 million Spotify streams with “Still With You”, a song he wrote himself.
BigHit Music confirmed the figure on September 8, citing platform data. It is his sixth solo track to reach the mark, after releases including “Seven (feat. Latto)”, “3D (feat. Jack Harlow)”, and “Dreamers”.
“Still With You” first went up on SoundCloud in 2020, put out free ahead of BTS’s seventh debut anniversary. It was given a formal release in 2023.
The track topped iTunes’ song charts in 101 regions and reached number 33 on Billboard’s Global Excl. US chart and number 62 on the Global 200.
It is a slow, jazz-leaning song built over the sound of rain.
Jungkook performed it on BTS’s ‘ARIRANG’ tour, which recently wrapped its North American leg at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles after 31 sold-out shows across 12 markets.
The song crossed 400 million streams in December, five years after it first appeared, meaning it added the last 100 million in about nine months.
Jungkook holds other Spotify records as a soloist. He became the first K-pop solo artist to put 18 songs past 100 million streams, and his fan-dedicated track “Never Let Go” passed 200 million last year.
