BTS have closed the North American leg of their ‘ARIRANG’ world tour, drawing about 1.92 million fans over 31 shows in 12 cities.
Every one of the 31 dates sold out in advance during the five-month run, which took in cities including El Paso, Chicago, Toronto, and Mexico City.
The leg ended with four nights at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on September 1, 2, 5, and 6, which drew roughly 282,000 people. Combined with their four shows at the venue in 2021, BTS have now played eight concerts there for a cumulative audience of about 496,000.
That total makes them the group with both the most concerts and the largest cumulative audience at SoFi Stadium since it opened.
Several cities marked the visits with official designations. Los Angeles declared September 1 to 8 ‘BTS Week’ and lit city hall in red, the color tied to the ‘ARIRANG’ album. Toronto named the August 22 and 23 concert dates ‘BTS Weekend’ and temporarily renamed part of Yonge Street ‘BTS Boulevard.’
Illinois proclaimed August 27 and 28, the dates of the Chicago shows, as ‘BTS Day in Illinois,’ and El Paso County in Texas designated the concert period ‘El Paso BTS Weekend.’
BTS open the South American leg of the tour on October 2 in Bogotá, Colombia, with five cities on the schedule.
