As BTS‘s Jimin is currently involved in dating rumors with Song Da Eun, some have reflected on the relationship rumors the members have faced throughout the years.
While some connections were more loosely made, some have lingered and truly convinced some netizens of their authenticity. For the ones that have been regarded as “serious,” the group’s company issued a response, showing the weight of the rumors.
1. Jimin X Song Da Eun
The rumors between Jimin and Song Da Eun are the idol’s most persistent, lasting several years. Most recently, they resurfaced again after the actress shared a video seemingly showing Da Eun greeting Jimin at her apartment.
2. BTS’s V X BLA
BTS V‘s dating rumors with Jennie began after the idol accidentally followed her on Instagram.
Afterwards, alleged leaked photos and a date video continued to fuel the rumors. Most recently, fans have found “proof” of the idols’ relationship, continuing the suspicions even years later. BIGHIT MUSIC addressed these claims indirectly.
3. RM × Wealthy Non-Celebrity
In 2022, a YouTube channel claimed that RM was dating a wealthy non-celebrity, using matching items and apparent museum visits as proof.
BIGHIT MUSIC outright denied the claims, stating that the dating rumors were untrue. RM also addressed them himself on Weverse, reaffirming that he did not know the woman.
4. Suga X Suran
In 2017, Suga produced Suran‘s “Wine,” and the following interactions between the two led to Suran being harassed over assumptions that the two were dating.
Suran apologized and addressed the rumors herself. This was the very first time BIGHIT released a statement regarding a dating rumor, leading many to call it BTS’s first official dating rumor.
5. Jungkook X Tattoo Artist
Following photos of Jungkook hugging a woman later identified as a tattoo artist named Lee Mi Joo, rumors that the idol was in a relationship with the woman circulated.
BIGHIT MUSIC addressed these claims in a statement, saying that Jungkook was just with friends.
