BTS’s “Swim” received a gold certification in the singles category from French record organization Syndicat National de l’Édition Phonographique (SNEP), the band’s agency BigHit Music said Wednesday.
“Swim” is the lead track from the band’s fifth full-length album “Arirang,” released in March.
The certification is awarded to songs that reach 15 million cumulative listens through a combination of streaming, downloads and physical sales.
This marks BTS’s 10th gold certification in the singles category from the organization. The band previously earned gold certifications for songs including “Dynamite” (2020), “Butter” (2021), “Boy With Luv” (2019) and “Fake Love” (2018).
The band’s album, “Arirang,” also received a gold certification just six days after its release, before earning platinum certification from SNEP in April.
“Arirang” marked the band’s first full-length album in nearly four years and its first since all seven members completed their mandatory military service. Months after its release, the album remains on the Billboard 200, ranking No. 24 as of Tuesday.
BTS is currently on its “Arirang” world tour and is set to perform in Chicago on Thursday and Friday.
