A renowned Japanese plastic surgeon from the SEA Clinic at Ginza, Tokyo, recently analyzed the facial features of V on social media, expressing admiration and describing him as possessing a “legendary, national treasure-level appearance.”
The surgeon explained, “His face has the perfect combination of cuteness and handsomeness, and he exudes sexiness as well. People with that kind of charm often have an androgynous aura with soft, feminine contours. Taetae’s face shape is gently rounded, and even the tip of his nose is slightly rounded. But above all, what truly captivates attention are his eyes.”
He continued, “With just a single glance, he can instantly captivate women. It’s no surprise that he was ranked No. 1 Most Handsome Man in the World. One cannot reach that level without immense popularity and a charisma that commands everyone’s attention. It’s truly a legendary face — a national treasure-level handsome man.”
Previously, Japan’s publishing company Shueisha reported in an article titled “Top 5 Faces People Really Want, According to a Fully Booked Plastic Surgeon” that V was selected in the “Most Desired Face Line” category.
The surgeon evaluated him as “the owner of a perfect E-line, with a well-defined facial line and jaw that allow softness and masculinity to coexist in an attractive face shape,” adding, “To create perfectly contoured facial features like V’s would require approximately ₩40 million.”
V has also drawn attention for his natural visuals. Plastic surgeons both in Korea and abroad have named him as the face men most want to resemble, noting his strong popularity in “ideal type world cup” rankings.
One specialist even selected V as the #1 visual among 32 male idols, stating, “Even from a man’s perspective, V is handsome. When men come in for plastic surgery consultations, the photo they bring most often is overwhelmingly V.”
Last year, U.S.-based scientific facial analysis institute QOVES Studio also explained why V is often regarded as the world’s most handsome man: “V’s face exhibits a high degree of symmetry. He is known for his flawless hair, thick eyebrows, long eyelashes, sharp jawline, and full pink lips. While some of these traits are considered feminine, they contribute to his overall attractiveness.”
Other plastic surgeons have praised him for possessing golden facial proportions, saying that his Western-style features and Eastern facial lines blend harmoniously. In profile view, they noted, the E-line connecting the forehead, nose, and chin is highly ideal. They emphasized that his face achieves a balanced harmony of masculinity and femininity.
Brazilian journalist Renan Peixoto commented, “For a long time, the Western macho image defined the standard of male beauty. But with V — who embodies both Eastern and Western beauty — emerging on the global stage, the standard of male attractiveness is shifting in a new direction.”
