EPEX unveils second studio album ‘Youth Deficiency’ to offer comfort and empathy to youth.
EPEX is set to release their second studio album, ‘Prelude of Love Chapter 2: Youth Deficiency’, November 5 at 6 p.m. KST, followed by a fan showcase as they launch their comeback activities. This album seeks to connect with the struggles and challenges of youth, conveying comfort and empathy while advancing the group’s global reach.
Ahead of this comeback, EPEX recorded an appearance on Japan’s popular TV program “Buzz Rhythm02″ on Nihon TV, known for hosting major K-pop artists like BTS, Stray Kids, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and ATEEZ. This marks EPEX’s second invitation, showcasing the enthusiastic support of Japanese fans.
‘Prelude of Love Chapter 2: Youth Deficiency’ is the second part of EPEX’s youth-themed trilogy. While their previous album, ‘Prelude of Love Chapter 1: Youth Season’, explored themes of innocent love and worries, this new release delves deeper into complex feelings of deficiency and the fulfillment that comes from life choices.
The title track, “UNIVERSE”, expresses EPEX’s vision of the universe, blending powerful melodies with a clear message about the spirit of youth. The performance features choreography by Just Jerk’s Eugene, Turns’ Jo Na In, and choreographer Jayric, promising an impressive display.
EPEX has elevated the storytelling of Youth Deficiency with concept photos, music video teasers, and story films, visually presenting a cinematic, fantasy-like interpretation of youth struggles that transcends time and space.
Additionally, Buzz Rhythm02 will reveal the broadcast schedule for EPEX’s appearance in November, where Japanese fans eagerly await their special performance. The second studio album, Prelude of Love Chapter 2: Youth Deficiency, is available on various online music platforms starting at November 5th 6 p.m. KST
