Over the years, HYBE album sales distribution has shown strong performance across multiple artists. However, there were concerns regarding HYBE’s heavy reliance on BTS for their album sales and overall revenue before the members enlisted for mandatory military service.

However, on February 18, IBK Investment & Securities stated that HYBE “has the best artist portfolio” and predicted “high growth until 2026.” IBK Investment & Securities cited that HYBE has successfully balanced the album sales distribution among its artists.

Accordingly, HYBE released the sales volume distribution percentage from 2024 and compared it to JYP Entertainment’s sales distribution.

According to reports, “Based on the 2024 sales figures, the distribution by artist is as follows. HYBE has a lower concentration of artists compared to JYP Entertainment, which is evaluated as having a well-diversified portfolio.”

HYBE: Seventeen 29.8%, ENHYPEN 16.4%, TXT 12.4%, BTS solo 11.2%
JYP Entertainment: Stray Kids 46.4%, TWICE (group/solo) 25.2%, NMIXX 11.4%, ITZY 10.2%

Not only that, Kim Yoo Hyuk, an analyst at IBK Investment & Securities, stated, “HYBE is expected to achieve a 20% annual revenue growth and a 60% operating profit growth by 2026, reaching 2.4057 trillion KRW (1.675 Billion USD) in revenue and 521.6 billion KRW (364 million USD) in operating profit.” He added, “Starting this year, the contribution of lower-year artists such as LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, TWS, and BOYNEXTDOOR to performance results is expected to significantly increase.”
