BTS’s J-Hope has generously donated 100 million KRW (about $68,000) to the families of the victims of the tragic Jeju Air plane crash that occurred at Muan Airport in Jeollanam-do. This heartfelt donation was made to offer support to those suffering from the devastating loss.
On January 2nd, the donation was delivered through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association. In a statement, J-Hope shared, “Upon hearing the news of the accident, I decided to make this donation to help the bereaved families as much as I can.” He expressed his deep sorrow for the tragedy, saying, “I offer my deepest condolences and comfort to the bereaved families and everyone affected by this tragedy. My heart goes out to those enduring this unimaginable pain.”
J-Hope, known for his ongoing charitable efforts, is a member of the ‘Hope Bridge Honor Club,’ a prestigious group of high-value donors. Through this platform, he has consistently supported various causes and continues to engage in acts of kindness to help those in need.
In addition to his philanthropic endeavors, J-Hope completed his mandatory military service on October 17th last year. Fans are eagerly anticipating his return to the stage, as he is set to hold a solo concert titled ‘J-HOPE TOUR – HOPE ON THE STAGE’ at the KSPO Dome in Seoul’s Olympic Park from February 28th to March 2nd. This concert marks the next exciting chapter in his career, and fans are looking forward to experiencing his powerful performances once again.
