Jin has shared some adorable photos that he took with WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon in the military!
Last month, Kang Seung Yoon became the final member of WINNER to enlist in the military, roughly six months after Jin enlisted in December of last year.
On July 26, Jin—who is currently serving as an assistant instructor at a training center for new recruits— took to Weverse to personally congratulate Kang Seung Yoon on completing his basic military training.
Jin wrote, “Seung Yoon, congratulations on completing [your basic training]. I enjoyed spending the last six weeks with you. (He’s the cool vocalist of the group WINNER.)”
The BTS member went on to express his sadness at having to say goodbye to Kang Seung Yoon now that his basic training was over, writing, “You worked hard during your time as a new recruit, and please live well at your new military base as well, sob sob. I hoped that ARMY [BTS’s fans] and INNER CIRCLE [WINNER’s fans] would be happy to see [these photos], so I asked [Seung Yoon] to take a commemorative photo with me.”
Jin added, “Both our company commander and our first sergeant are very good people, so it was a great six weeks. (We didn’t receive any preferential treatment.)”
