V Debuts In Top 10 Of Spotify’s Global Chart + Tops Oricon’s Digital Singles Chart With “Love Me Again” And “Rainy Days”

V’s new solo songs are making a splash on music charts all over the world!

On August 11 at 1 p.m. KST, V pre-released the songs “Rainy Days” and “Love Me Again” off his upcoming solo debut album “Layover.”

The following day, Oricon officially announced that “Rainy Days” and “Love Me Again” had debuted at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively on its latest daily digital singles chart (dated April 11).

Both songs also made strong debuts on Spotify’s Global Top Songs chart. “Love Me Again” entered the chart at No. 10 after racking up an impressive 3,773,666 filtered streams on its first day alone, while “Rainy Days” debuted at No. 12 with 3,576,108 filtered first-day streams.

Additionally, both songs hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in numerous countries across the globe, with “Rainy Days” reaching No. 1 in major music markets like the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, and France.

The rest of V’s solo debut album “Layover,” including its title track, will be released on September 8 at 1 p.m. KST.
