Previously on August 9, it was revealed that BTS member SUGA’s exact blood alcohol content (BAC) at the time of his breathalyzer test was 0.227%.

When the idol was initially questioned by the police for operating an electric scooter while intoxicated, SUGA had stated, “I drank one glass of beer.” However, based on the common belief that one glass of beer will produce for the average person a BAC between 0.02 and 0.04%, the BTS member is at the center of criticism once again for his false testimony.

While many fans are concerned over the detrimental effects of SUGA’s latest scandal on the image of BTS, some are raising questions over whether or not the group will proceed with their plans to make a comeback in 2025, once all of the members have completed their mandatory service duties.

According to industry insiders, there are currently no internal discussions for SUGA to leave BTS, or any other sort of extreme measures to respond to the recent scandal. SUGA himself is deeply reflecting on his actions, but it is highly unlikely that BTS’s group comeback in 2025 will be delayed as a result.
