BTS held their “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’” concert in Arlington, Texas, on August 15 (local time). One of those children was Olivia, a young cancer patient and devoted BTS fan.
Olivia was reportedly enjoying the concert when she suddenly noticed Jimin approaching her during the performance. She appeared visibly shocked and emotional as the BTS member came toward her. Jimin then smiled warmly at her before giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Overwhelmed by the unexpected interaction, Olivia immediately exclaimed, “I got a kiss!” She was later seen looking at footage of Jimin captured during the concert, seemingly trying to take in the unforgettable moment. The sweet interaction quickly touched fans who witnessed the footage online.
Following the concert, Heroes for Children shared Olivia’s reaction through its official social media account. The organization expressed gratitude to BTS for giving Olivia such a meaningful experience, saying that she was still emotionally caught up in the moment after the concert.
According to the post, BTS gave Olivia a particularly memorable experience that she would never forget. The moment quickly spread online, with fans sending purple hearts and messages wishing Olivia good health and a speedy recovery.
The Arlington concert was already significant for another reason. The August 15 performance took place on Korean Liberation Day, which commemorates Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonial rule in 1945. Jimin also drew attention for his stage styling that day, incorporating colors and patterns reminiscent of the Taegeukgi, South Korea’s national flag. His thoughtful styling, combined with the emotional interaction with Olivia, made the Texas concert an especially memorable occasion for BTS fans.
For Olivia, however, the highlight of the night was undoubtedly the unexpected moment when her favorite artist approached her and gave her a kiss on the cheek a memory that she is likely to cherish for years to come.
