BTS’s j-hope was officially discharged from the military today.

On October 17th, j-hope finished his mandatory service and was officially discharged from the military. Although his label previously announced that there would not be any special event regarding his return, his groupmate Jin headed to the base to greet him on this day.

Many fans from all over the world including Japan, Italy, and Brazil, gathered to catch a glimpse of the two superstars.

j-hope thanked the fans and journalists, and of course, Jin who came to greet him on the day of discharge.

Meanwhile, j-hope enlisted in the military last April, becoming the second BTS member to do so after Jin. He served as an instructor at the boot camp of the 36th Infantry Division in Wonju, Gangwon Province.

Welcome back, j-hope!
