Jungkook of BTS shared a New Year’s message with fans while serving in the military.
On January 8th, Jungkook greeted fans on the Weverse platform, saying, “My New Year’s greetings are late,” and adding, “This is the year of our discharge and the year we meet again.”
He continued, “That doesn’t mean there’s a big change in how I feel. As always, I’m just filled with the desire to see you all. There’s not much to say about my feelings; I’m just waiting patiently.”
Jungkook enlisted alongside fellow member Jimin in December 2023 and is currently serving as an active-duty soldier in the Army. This year marks the return of all BTS members from their military duties, with Jungkook scheduled to be discharged in June.
Expressing his thoughts, Jungkook shared, “If there’s one thing I want to do as soon as possible, it’s to dedicate time to learning and growing in many ways for ARMY. Time seems to pass quickly, but I wish it would run even faster. I miss you so much that it feels overwhelming.”
He added a heartfelt note, saying, “I hope tonight feels like a decent start to the new year. While people inevitably get sick, I hope you feel even just a tiny bit less pain. Please take care.”
