BTS took first place in the September advertising model brand reputation rankings.
According to a report by Star News on September 3, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute put the group at the top of the monthly index, with RESCENE second and Lim Young Woong third.
The institute built the ranking from 34,915,880 units of big data collected between August 3 and September 3, scoring participation, media exposure, communication, and community indices for each name on the list.
Yoo Jae Suk, IVE, BLACKPINK, and Park Ji Hoon followed in the top ten, and the full list ran to thirty advertising models.
RESCENE’s jump to second place follows the group being named a brand model for the coffee chain Hollys last month, their first campaign of that scale.
The advertising model index is published monthly and tracks how much attention a figure draws as a commercial face, separate from music or acting metrics.
Meanwhile, BTS are in the middle of their ‘ARIRANG’ world tour, with four shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles this month, and the city declared September 1 to 8 ‘BTS Week’ to mark the run.
