Soldier Reveals The “Test” Required To Get An Autograph From BTS’s V In The Military

It has been a couple of months now since BTS‘s V (along with several other members) enlisted in the military, and it has already seemed to last ages for many fans of the K-Pop group. Updates about him and the rest of BTS are few and far between, but a recent story shared by a soldier known as soldier “A” has revealed that V is just as cheeky and playful as ever during his enlistment!

According to a viral post by the soldier, there’s a process when it comes to trying to get an autograph from V.

If you write your name down on a post-it note to get an autograph from V, executive officers get five and assistant officers only get two. However, V won’t just give autographs to assistant officers.

— Soldier “A”

He revealed that any assistant officer that requests an autograph from the BTS member must pass a “quiz” in order to receive it!

He makes you solve a quiz in order to get an autograph. The quiz asks questions such as, ‘What are the BTS members’ names?’ and ‘What is the title of a BTS song?’. If you get the answers wrong, he’ll link arms with other soldiers and chase you out.

— Soldier “A”

According to a source, V is using this “method” after being inspired by similar things on variety shows by PD Na Young Suk in order to be playful with his fellow soldiers, similar to his behavior on shows like Jinny’s Kitchen.

V is set to finish his military enlistment on June 10, 2025. He’s currently serving as a special forces member of the military police in the 2nd Army Corps in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.

The Goyang city government said Saturday that 820 rooms at nearby hotels and accommodations, including Sono Calm Goyang, sold out shortly after the concert dates were revealed. Major retailers such as Hyundai Department Store are preparing BTS-themed pop-up stores and promotional events. City officials plan to leverage the concerts to position Goyang as a “global performance hub,” offering tourism packages tied to K-beauty experiences and Korean cuisine to encourage visitors to extend their stays.
