BTS’s Jungkook featured on Netflix’s social media after he got emotional watching ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’

On July 14, fans were surprised to see Jungkook featured on the banner and profile caption of Netflix’s official X (formerly Twitter) account. The unexpected moment came shortly after Jungkook hosted a livestream on Weverse, where he spent time chatting and singing with fans.

During the stream, Jungkook serenaded fans with 40 songs, including the original soundtracks from the hit animated film ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters,’ such as “How It’s Done,” “Takedown,” “Golden,” and “Free.”

He eventually decided to watch the movie with viewers and became visibly moved by its storyline. In particular, when the character Jinu sacrifices himself to save Rumi. Jungkook was seen wiping away tears, emotionally reacting, “Ahg, dummy. Aishi. You should live diligently together if she gives you back your soul. What are you doing?”

This moment caught the attention of Netflix, which briefly updated its banner to feature Jungkook wiping his tears, along with the profile caption, “Jungkook watched K-Pop Demon Hunters.” Although the photo was later removed, the caption remains.

“It’s so hilarious they captured him crying and posted it.”

“Aww, Jungkook cried watching the film? Me too.”

“He’s so cute.”

“Now, everyone knows he cried. lol.”

“Even Netflix found out he cried. lol.”
